It snows a lot in Colorado so I am doing research on what angle or tilt is good for the snow to slide off the roof.
I found following on the Rensselar Polytechnic site:
“Because the panels are mounted at an angle, snow often melts before accumulating enough to completely block sunlight from the panel’s face.”
This utility site does not answer the question directly but has a neat graph when the snow is on the panel and then melts off.

I finally get my answer on True North Power Systems site:
“Also snow generally slides off if they are set to a winter angle of 65 or 70 degrees.”
After looking at the True North site, these guys look like the experts on this issue because where they are located in Canada.
