Since solar is so new, I am curious when a solar install hires someone new, where do they send them for training.
This is my 1st video interview with Daimon Vilppu President Simply Efficient of out of Denver Colorado.
SolarDave: Where do you send your new techs for training in solar once you have hired them?
Daimon Vilppu: Right now we do a lot of the COSEIA training (Colorado Solar Energy’s Association).
We also send over to Ken Thames he is around (Denver) not far. He’s got really good training, he is a master electrician, so I like the people that have a master electrician background in solar so he has got both sides of it – he is very meticulous and all about good quality.
SolarDave: Is the COSEIA, is that the one up in Carbondale?
Daimon Vilppu: That is SEI – SEI (Solar Energy International) is great if you have a summer or a few weeks to go up there.

Hello! Well, I’m 21, I live in Las Vegas. I have traveled a lot and I’m not tied down to any thing here, I was raised in foster care. I learn very fast, any hands on training is my favorite. I’m having trouble finding a good job in Vegas, I’m currently choosing somewhere else to work and learn something new. Would you happen to know any on-the-job training for wind turbines or anything else dealing with green energy. I’m capable of leaving at a moments notice, if you know what I mean. Please contact me back as soon as possible with any information or anything else! I like your website and subscribed! It inspires me! Thank You! -Clark
