How Does IES Train Their Solar Installers

This is my 5th video interview with Erik Bowman (I said Mark in the video – oops) with his new company of IES (Integral Energy Systems) of out of Golden Colorado.

SolarDave: How Does IES Train Their Solar Installers?

Erik Bowman: What we have historically done is to insure that we have our base of installers already skill and qualified and have exposure to or already had some certifications like North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification and they are going to train, on-the-job training and getting them up on the roof and when it comes to the physical side of the house.

But once again that is only one component. I want people that understand construction and structure and roofing and what you are going to find is that well training people in the roofing trades and current people in the master electrician trades
