I thought John Shaw has a great idea on how to trim a tree that might block your solar array.
This is my 6th video interview with John Shaw Project Engineer Bella Energy of out of Louisville Colorado.
SolarDave: How To Cut A Tree So It Doesn’t Shade Your Solar Array?
John Shaw: The only way I figured out have people know where they need to cut (the tree) you take one of those protractors and tape a laser pointer…
Where do you cut your tree to make
sure it doesn’t shade your solar array is
a question that John Shaw project engineer
for Bella energy.
The only way I figured out to have
people know where they need to cut is you take one of those
little protractors and tape a laser pointer
at fifteen degrees and then put that
on a level that so you compass on level
with a laser pointer at 15 degrees
and somehow without tweaking all of that
take the laser pointer and sweep across the trees
and you can see where 15 degrees is.
You can get a really power laser and just cut it down.
I like that!
Or just even just powerful enough to burn a line in the tree
Just go cut it at the burn line.
If you want to see a video about my tree, you can watch it here.
