A good question to ask any contractor is if they sub-out any of their work to other contractors.

SolarDave: Do you sub-out any of your solar contracting work to other contractors?
Tony Boniface: As electrical contractor we don’t need to sub-out any of the electrical work. However in some situations we will get in to substainal roof repair and we will sub-out the roof work.
SolarDave: Does a client come to you and say, “Give me a new roof and a solar array”. (This is something that I need)
Tony Boniface:Yes, that is not tpyical but more typically when we get to a concrete tile roof then we will need a roofer to come in and cut the tiles so we can put the stand-offs on come back in, flash, reroof and then come in and finish the system.
