Ok, this is kind of a silly question, but I wanted to make sure that panels produce DC - that is why there is an inverter to invert to AC.
I pretty much knew the answer to this question before I looked it up, but I had to verify it.
Solar panels produce DC current. My guess was right because every system has an inverter which changes the DC into usable AC.
