In one of my first posts I ask the question if I buy a solar panel array now, will it become obsolete in two years like computers do (Moore’s Law).

Looks like SunPower’s previous record of 22% (cell rating) has been shattered with Spectrolab’s 40%.

Jaxsun however pointed out from the previous post that this can be misleading since this is on a cell level and not on a panel level (panels have loss).
